Description
This qualification is designed for learners who wish to pursue a career as a licensed Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry, in compliance with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations. It equips candidates with the essential knowledge, understanding, and skills required to work in frontline security roles.
Course Structure

Duration: 6 days total

Delivery Mode:

Days 1–4 (Virtual Learning): Online sessions delivered via live virtual classroom (09:00–18:00). Learners must attend all sessions in full, have a valid internet connection and a computer and be present with their camera on at all times, with the exception of designated breaks.

Days 5–6 (Classroom-based): In-person training at the designated venue, including all practical assessments and written examinations.

Pre-Course Requirements

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW): Learners must already hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate (achieved within the last 12 months).

Pre-Learning: In line with SIA requirements, all learners must complete mandatory pre-course learning modules before the start of training.

Written Assessments: Multiple-choice examinations covering knowledge and understanding.

Certification
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive the Highfield Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (VRQ) — meeting the training requirement for an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
