Meet the Directors

Omosola Peter Omotayo

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

I founded Ayotte Recruitment & Training Academy after building my career in the UK security sector from the age of 17. I am an active Close Protection Operative and also own a UK security company that is ACS accredited, reflecting high standards of professionalism, compliance, and service in the industry.

My experience on the frontline of security shapes everything we do at Ayotte. I pride myself on being an ethical, thorough security trainer, and I ensure that our programmes prepare learners for real-world expectations—not just to pass an exam.

Under my leadership, Ayotte has expanded beyond security into:

  • Food hygiene and food safety
  • Leadership and management
  • Diploma programmes and wider vocational training
  • International employment pathways, particularly in Malta and the UK

My goal is that every learner leaves us not only qualified, but also more confident, more disciplined, and more employable.

Katie Omotayo

Director of Education and Training

I am a career educator, trained in Canada, with over 23 years of experience in teaching and educational leadership. I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master’s in Educational Administration, with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Mathematics.

A significant part of my expertise comes from 17 years of working with neurodivergent learners, including students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and processing differences. During this time, I specialised in:

  • Writing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assessing and interpreting psycho-educational evaluations
  • Ensuring academic accommodations and support strategies were properly implemented
  • Working directly with families, specialists, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Training teachers on inclusive practices and classroom differentiation

For 10 years, I served as the Head of a dedicated department supporting neurodivergent learners, leading a team responsible for learner assessments, intervention design, monitoring progress, and ensuring educational needs were met within a structured, supportive environment.

Before co-founding Ayotte Recruitment & Training Academy, I also worked as a Vice Principal, Department Head, and Mathematics and Science teacher in Canada. That experience allows me to design training that is structured, accessible, and grounded in strong pedagogical practice.

At Ayotte, I lead on the development and delivery of:

  • The Highfield Award in Education and Training
  • The International Award in Delivering Training
  • First aid programmes
  • Food industry and food safety training

My priority is always learner success—ensuring every learner feels supported, confident, and well-prepared to succeed both in assessment and in their chosen career path.
